This Odù Ifá is   among the 240 minor Odù, also called Àmúlù, the ones with different patterns on each side. It is basically called Ogbè Òtúrá, meaning that  it is composed by Ogbè at the right side and Òtúrá at the left side.

On each Ose Ifa day, Araba of Oworo teaches a new stanza of Ifa from the cast odù. This verse of Ogbe Alara (Ogbe Otura) is about Ìwà (character) which is an important part of Yoruba an Ifá philosophy.
