This Odù Ifá is among the 240 minor Odù, also called Àmúlù, the ones with different patterns on each side. It is basically called Ìrẹtẹ̀ Ọ̀ṣẹ́, meaning that it is composed by Ìrẹtẹ̀ at the right side and Ọ̀ṣẹ́ at the left side.

" Looking at the Odù Ìrù Ẹkùn /Ìrẹtẹ̀ Alájé /Ìrẹtẹ̀ Ọ̀sẹ́ cast for today's Ọ̀sẹ̀ Ifá", by Araba of Oworo
On each Ose Ifa day, Araba of Oworo teaches us a new verse of Ifa. This day, the Ifa stanza is selected from the odù Irete Alajé / Iru Ekun (irete ose) and is a very important verse of this odù. The leopard (ekùn), protagonist of this verse, is to fierce to be captured and tied like a goat by his enemies. As usual, written with perfect Yoruba scripture and english translation.
